Job Description
As a Senior Technology Engineer I, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deliveringa scalable, cloud-based solutionsusing AWS native services. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI-enabled and agentic services, architect modern web applications using React and other front-end technologies, and drive secure, high-quality deployments through iterativeDevSecOpspractices. You will foster engineering excellence through pair programming, modern testing methodologies, and continuous improvement, advancing technology capabilities across the organization. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications,leveragingAWS-native tools and serverless architectures to ensure resilient and scalable solutions.
Architect and implement web front ends using React (or similar frameworks: e.g., Angular, Vue.js), ensuring responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences.
Adopt and promote modern software engineering practices including automated testing (e.g., unit, integration, E2E), code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within aDevSecOpsframework.
Champion secure coding and data protection practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g.,GxP, data security).
Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams, activelyparticipatingin pair programming, iterative planning, and continuous deliveryto incrementallyadd value.
Serve as a technical leader and mentor, guiding less experienced engineers in modern practices, architecture decisions, and software craftsmanship.
Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud, AI, and developer productivity tools that drive automation, efficiency, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with 6 years experience;Masters Degreewith 5 years experience; or PhD with relevant project experience.
- Strongexpertisein AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS), modern web technologies (e.g., React, Typescript), and deployment automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, JFrog, CodePipline).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integration practices; hands-on experience with relevant AWS AI services is a plus.
- Deep understanding ofDevSecOps, automated testing, code quality, and secure software delivery lifecycles.
- Experience in agile, collaborative development environments, withproficiencyin pair programming and mentoring others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
