Accounting Manager
The Global Medical Products and Distribution (GMPD) Accounting Operations Manager supports the U.S. Medical Products & Distribution business within the GMPD segment, as well as some segment level reporting and analysis. Ideal candidate will be local to Columbus with the ability to work a hybrid schedule, coming into the office at least one day a week. What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards. Responsibilities - Provide accounting oversight for CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) billbacks, including review, accruals, and analysis
- Report the GMPD AP, AR, and Gross-to-Net results
- Oversee accounting for customers with unique arrangements
- Consolidate the quarterly SEC reporting package for the GMPD segment
- Manage accounting for key accruals/reserves, including credit/rebill, fill rate, and warranties
Qualifications
- 6+ years of public and / or corporate accounting experience, preferred
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Prior manager / supervisory experience, preferred
- CPA preferred
