Consultant, Business Transformation

Job Summary

The Business Transformation Consultant will play a key role in supporting the successful transition to Vantus HQ, the new eCommerce platform for the Pharmaceutical segment of Cardinal Health. Vantus HQ will replace the current Order Express system through a structured, thoughtful, and customer centric migration strategy. This role will ensure clear, consistent, and strategic communication across the organization to minimize customer disruption and drive a smooth migration experience.

This role integrates change management, strategic communications, and cross functional collaboration to ensure the organization is aligned, informed, and ready for each phase of the Vantus HQ rollout. The ideal candidate brings strong communication capabilities, the ability to simplify complex changes, and experience guiding stakeholders through enterprise level transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate communication, change management activities and deliverables into initiative plans including strategy, communications, training, stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, adoption, reinforcement, etc.
  • Conduct stakeholder and change impact assessments
  • Define project success criteria and assess performance against it
  • Make connections across change initiatives to develop and execute change plans
  • Coach business and project leaders to help them fulfill their role of change sponsor
  • Prepare and present change milestones in a way that illustrates collective impact
  • Partner with data analytics, finance, communications, and other stakeholders to track program metrics
  • Partners with communication, learning, and HR teams to ensure successful execution of changes.
  • Support the building of organizational change management capability by mentoring less experienced change practitioners while sharing tools, resources, and best practices
  • Encourages sharing of ideas and best practices to enable problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with leaders and teams across our business to enable stakeholder input and alignment

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Demonstrated experience working with Organizational Change Management tools and techniques, including:
    • Communication planning and development
    • Stakeholder engagement, alignment, and management
    • Change analysis and readiness assessments
  • Project management and leadership skills
  • Relationship-building skills, including the ability to gain trust and form strong business alliances
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Structured thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, Training, or equivalent preferred
  • Four plus years of experience in change management, communications, project management, or other related area; change management experience with medium to large programs preferred
  • Change management certification, such as Prosci a plus
  • Experience working in transformation or technology enabled change environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce, customer experience, or pharmaceutical distribution environments is beneficial but not required.

Anticipated salary range:$80,900 - $103,950
