Description



The front office will participate in a variety of patient and non-patient activities to assist the operations of Providence Swedish Cancer Institute Everett in providing a competent and caring environment for patients and their families. This position works under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager or appropriate staff to support in the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. Provide effective and efficient front office services to patients for all departments. Coordinate internal and external clinic phone communications among staff, patients and providers; accurately collect records and ensure distribution to appropriate staff via computer and/or manual systems; perform clerical, scheduling, and records activities in support of patients and staff.

Required Qualifications:




  • H.S. Diploma or GED


  • 1 year working in a medical setting.


  • Computer experience (word processing).



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Coursework/Training: Two years of community college/business school training.


  • Coursework/Training: Additional course work in business or health care related subjects.


  • Experience with electronic medical records.


  • Physician group practice.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
