Job Description
Manager, Influencer Marketing
As the Influencer Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy and planning of influencer programs and campaigns. You will manage building influencer programs and partnerships grounded in human and cultural insights, data analysis, and social media trends. With your enthusiasm for and knowledge of influencer marketing, you will play a vital role in collaborating with internal partners and external agencies to deliver marketing and business goals focused on driving the Best Buy brand and our partners. Success in this role will be fueled by a track record of building and fostering relationships and approaching work with a solution-oriented mindset.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do
  • Lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive influencer programs, key brand campaigns, and/or strategic influencer partnerships.
  • Drive all work with internal and external teams, including campaign briefing, selecting/vetting influencers, content reviews/approvals, and campaign reporting.
  • Work as the main champion and liaison for building relationships with partners and proactively guide how best to use influencer marketing to meet business goals, as well as oversee influencer management tools and key partner and agency relationships.
  • Define and guide the approach to consistently track KPIs and benchmarks to measure program success and share key insights, learnings, and recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, platform advancements, and legal standards, and incorporate findings to maximize future program effectiveness.

Basic qualifications
  • 7+ years of Marketing experience
  • 3+ years indirect or direct people leadership and/or management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in influencer, social, and/ or content marketing (e.g., influencer partnerships, content marketing, or social media programs)
  • 1 + years experience of modern marketing technologies and analytics tools, and able to adapt quickly to new digital platforms and systems.
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Retail and/or Agency experience
